To send files to Artray Label via the Internet, you must use a zip or stuffit archive. Why?
1. All files go to the same directory on our web server, so it gets confusing if we have to look for more than
one file to go with your quote request. A single compressed archive file can contain all of the items for your job.
2. After being copied across the Internet to our web server, your Mac files may lose their creator types, and Windows files sometimes get corrupted. StuffIt (SIT) and Zip (.ZIP) files seem to survive the
transfer well, so that the files contained in them can be extracted without any problems.
PC Archiving Software
Use PKZip, Winzip or a Windows equivalent to make a single archive containing all files, graphics, printer fonts and screen fonts.
Macintosh Archiving Software
Use StuffIt or StuffIt Lite, to produce a SIT file. Do not use
DiskDoubler!
DiskDoubler is a space saver, but it does not create simple binary files which travel well across the Internet, the way StuffIt does. Your archive should contain all files, graphics, printer fonts and screen fonts.
